Job Summary

Required Experience

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Professional Experience: 5 years in database administration engineering or development with at least 3 years focused on PostgreSQL in enterprise environments.
Project Experience: Proven track record of supporting large-scale high-availability PostgreSQL deployments including cloud (Azure AWS) and on-prem platforms.

Essential Skills

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL administration configuration and optimization.
Strong SQL skills including query writing optimization and data modeling.
Experience with database monitoring profiling and performance tuning tools.
Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible Terraform pgcron).
Knowledge of backup restore and disaster recovery strategies.
Experience with database security role management and access controls.
Understanding of cloud database services (Azure Database for PostgreSQL AWS RDS).
Scripting skills (Python Bash) for automation and tooling.
