Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Design Engineer
LOCATION: Tulsa OK
PAY RATE: $70/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Create solid 3D models in CATIA V5 for aerospace components
Generate detailed drawing packages layouts and engineering documentation
Perform model release activities ensuring accuracy compliance and configuration control
Collaborate with Integrated Product Team (IPT) members to resolve design challenges
Provide factory and production floor support during build and assembly
Convert 2D drawings into 3D models for modernization and optimization initiatives

Requirements:

10 years of aerospace engineering experience (Boeing experience strongly preferred)
Expertise in structural and mechanical design for aerospace systems
Advanced proficiency with CATIA V5
Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aerospace industry standards
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

Experience with composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques
Familiarity with stress analysis / finite element modeling
Background supporting design certification processes
Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program
