Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Fabricate and assemble composite parts and assemblies of varying size and complexity
-
Safely and accurately operate shop tools and machinery including drills die grinders and calipers
-
Drill precise hole patterns in composite and metal structures including composite/metal stack-ups
-
Install and work with multiple fastener types including Hi-Lite Hi-Lok and Composi-Lok
-
Perform hands-on aircraft manufacturing with composite and/or metallic airframes
-
Work with MS flareless fittings and standard O-rings
-
Follow directions and guidelines from team leadership to support cross-functional collaboration
-
Adhere strictly to assembly instructions to ensure accurate completion of complex builds
-
Maintain a strong safety culture including FOD awareness and regulatory compliance
-
Collaborate effectively to achieve production goals and assigned tasks
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
2 years of experience as a technician in aerospace or a comparable high-reliability industry
-
Experience in aircraft fabrication and assembly (or equivalent)
-
Ability to use computer applications to follow manufacturing work instructions
-
Ability to read and interpret drawings blueprints and digital models
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
-
Knowledge of current manufacturing practices and willingness to learn advanced spacecraft manufacturing techniques
-
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) training or certification (preferred)
-
Familiarity with multiple fastener types
-
Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
-
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools
-
Detail-oriented while maintaining a broader operational perspective
-
Strong safety focus including housekeeping tool control and proper handling of hazardous materials
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-
Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
