Job Summary

Job Title : Deployment Manager (Agile CI/CD APM HHSC SSA Environments)

Location: Austin TX (Hybrid- Local candidates only )

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Mandatory Qualifications

Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong background supporting and training end users across multiple levels.
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery processes.
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban XP) and related activities such as user story development automated testing CI ATDD and TDD.
Strong communication skills for interaction across executive management development testing and technical teams.
Ability to coach Agile teams and promote self-organizing high-performance culture.
In-depth understanding of software development processes SDLC/PMLC and enterprise-level environment management.
Demonstrated leadership abilities including conflict resolution mentoring and workload prioritization.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira Rally VersionOne Microsoft Project Visio and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems MIS or related field (education and experience may be substituted interchangeably).

Preferred Qualifications

Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
Project Management Professional (PMP).
Experience managing large-scale software development or DevOps projects in an Agile environment.
Experience with enterprise APM/monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
Experience overseeing multifunctional project teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee deployment and validation of SSA application releases and system enhancements into production.
Manage and troubleshoot issues in development test training and production environments.
Coordinate with internal IT teams trading partners vendors and consultants for environment setup configuration and issue resolution.
Lead environment demand planning ensuring timely delivery of new environments and updates to existing ones (code database security configuration and platform updates).
Lead initiatives and IT sprints to improve environment delivery processes through automation standardization and DevOps practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming user story development prioritization and sprint retrospectives.
Lead multi-disciplinary troubleshooting sessions to restore functionality perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain the IT DevOps roadmap in alignment with SSA goals; participate in IT governance meetings and present updates to management.
Provide Scrum Master support for DevSecOps teams to ensure effective Agile processes and remove impediments.
Oversee team operations assign work mentor staff and ensure productivity and team harmony.
Produce and deliver complex reports including environment usage CI/CD pipeline status and technology proposals.
Support APM and monitoring efforts using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
Provide on-call support during workdays nights and weekends to maintain high environment availability.
