What you will do:

Service Engineer role will be responsible to provide complex technical support to front line service and customers on various technical problems and application. To troubleshoot maintain and repair equipment issues with Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning products and assist in providing strategic plan for resolution.

How you will do it:

  • Responsible for attending to system breakdown calls and carry out scheduled preventive maintenance

  • To provide commissioning for air-conditioning equipment on customer site

  • Oversee customer complaint handling and conduct system troubleshooting

  • Carry out overhaul and fault finding of services varying reciprocating screw centrifugal and etc.

  • Document relevant results of equipment and submitted accordingly to customer

  • Develops positive customer relationships ensures pro-active feedback on and documentation of the customers equipment and systems status

  • Advises and trains customer in system operations

  • Documents work completed and submits service reports

  • Optional:

  • Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided outstanding issues recommends system enhancement/upgrade/replacement and promotes the sale of change order

  • Ability to prices out products and provides customer quotes and promotes the sale of change order

  • Performs basic preventative maintenance in HVAC repair installation commissioning and general servicing activities under direct supervision.

  • Conducts routine communications with customers service team and subcontractors as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Provide our customers with proactive service recommendations leveraging JCI systems and tools to improve lifecycle performance of clients equipments

  • Support proposals to support recommendations and solutions

What we look for:

  • O Level / A Level / ITE / Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical with 3 years working experience.

  • Possess Certification/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant to

  • Proven experience in maintenance repair and troubleshooting within related fields of HVAC (Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning) or BAS (Building Automation System)

  • Experience in working in mechanical or electrical works within HVAC industry

  • Ability to read schematics and write up report

  • Strong communication skills within local language (reading writing and conversational)

  • Able to travel if need

  • Willing to learn new things and is a good teammate.

  • Able to provide good communication skills.

  • Possess knowledge in HVAC will be added advantage

  • Willingness to on standby and backup
