Sustainability Consulting: Assistant Manager EY Sustainability Consulting
Assistant Manager Sustainability Consulting (3 years experience)
Role Overview
- Project Management Lead multiple sustainability projects ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client objectives.
- Business Development Identify opportunities contribute to proposals and support client relationship management.
- Carbon Market Expertise Advise on voluntary carbon markets (Verra Gold Standard) carbon credit development and trading strategies.
- Environmental Assessment Conduct environmental impact assessments and integrate findings into sustainability strategies.
- Market Assessment and Reporting: Knowledge of current Sustainability Reporting Standards like GRI TCFD IFRS S1 &S2. Also Base knowledge of how green technologies are emerging at sectorial level.
- Team Leadership Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional workstreams.
- Previous Sustainability Experience: Similar experience in sustainability or business consulting or Sustainability position is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in Sustainability Environmental Science Environmental Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability consulting or related roles.
- Proven experience in carbon markets and environmental assessments.
- Strong project management and business development skills.
Skill Requirements:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work on complex data sets.
- Technical proficiency in Excel PowerPoint Canva and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of GHG Protocol IFRS S1 & S2 GRI Science-Based Targets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
