The Nursing Department Supervisor ensures that each client receives the nursing care treatment medications and diet which have been ordered by the attending physician/psychiatric nurse practitioner and ensures the overall quality of licensed nursing carefor the facility. S/he participates in budget development for the Nursing Department and is responsible for its implementation and management. S/he selects hires and supervises all staff in the Nursing Department. Aids in the development and maintaining of service objectives standards of nursing practice nursing policy and procedure manuals and written job descriptions for all nursing personnel. Maintains on-going leadership that is in alignment with agency and program. Maintains and perpetuates departmental adherence to governmental entities and other stakeholders and policies and regulations. Collaborates with external and internal departments and agencies to facilitate the smooth operation of the facility adherence to regulating entities policies and optimal patient care.
Division/Program Overview:
The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility.
Designed to help adult residents ages 18-59 who experience a psychiatric crisis to
safely stabilize recover and transition back to community.
Services include:
24/7 Program
Therapeutic and mental health services
Rehabilitation/recovery services including substance use rehabilitation services
Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
Medication evaluation and support services
Daily exercise and health/wellness education
Crisis intervention
