HGV Technician Day Shift
Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:00pm
Basic Salary 42000 1.5x Overtime Rate
OTE 45000 - 50000
Well Established Commercial Workshop
Tonbridge Area
A long-established HGV workshop in the Tonbridge area is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join its day shift team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled technician looking for stability strong overtime potential and a genuine career path within a business that supports a wide variety of van and truck servicing and repairs for commercial fleets.
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing maintenance and repairs on a mixed HGV fleet
- Diagnose mechanical electrical and hydraulic faults
- Complete effective and timely repairs to DVSA and internal standards
- Work collaboratively with workshop colleagues to maintain smooth workflow
- Accurately complete job cards and associated documentation
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Solid diagnostic skills across key systems
- Ability to manage own workload on a busy day shift
Salary and Benefits
- 41990 basic salary
- MonFri 7:30am5pm (day shift)
- Lots of overtime available at 1.5x OTE
- 23 days holiday bank holidays
- Long-service leave
