Purpose
The Manager Payment Operations Transformation will support in driving transformational operational capabilities opportunities and mitigates potential operational risks associated with day-to-day servicing and operations as well as transformative payments technologies across the high value payments space. The individual works with stakeholders to socialize and produce high-quality global operational solutions supporting operations teams in the overall deployment of strategies that shape meaningful change for our customers and operational teams.

What Youll Do:

  • Drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships systems and knowledge.
  • Optimizes processes and drives end to end efficiency by collaborating with payment transformation teams across business operations finance compliance AML and technology.
  • Seeks a deep understanding of the end-to-end payment process working across stakeholder teams in multiple segments of the banking enterprise to ensure successful implementation of target state processes.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary programs that could involve support on planning defining business requirements and processes testing and implementation strategies monitoring progress against planned objectives and co-operation from users and senior management.
  • Manage target state Standard Operating Process creation and post-implementation updates in respective area consulting with internal stakeholders when needed.
  • Provide support on delivery of backlog items and the ongoing testing and refinement to optimize and enhance their value.
  • Work in a cross-functional agile environment with Design Engineering Analytics Teams as well as Business Stakeholders to create value and deliver a world-class customer experience.
  • Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas while ensuring the adequacy adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk regulatory compliance risk AML/ATF risk and conduct risk including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

What Youll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Computer Science or an equivalent field.
  • 5 years of experience in Banking Operations and Cash Management.
  • Deep expertise in high-value payment systems including wire transfers SWIFT ISO 20022 standards FI Clearing and Financial Market Infrastructures (FMI).
  • Agile mindset with a strong focus on delivering business value through operational transformation initiatives.
  • Proficient in operational process design leveraging lean methodologies to drive end-to-end process improvements.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) combined with strong organizational abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel data analysis and presentation development.
