The Department of Chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for tenured faculty in any area of experimental physical chemistry. We are interested in candidates who will contribute to higher education through teaching research mentoring and service.
Successful candidates are expected to establish and sustain a vibrant research program; serve as dedicated teachers and mentors to our students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; and assist in the administrative and governance functions of the department the university and the profession via service on committees as appropriate. Applicants at the associate or full professor level must have a significant record of accomplishment in research teaching mentoring and service.
