You will shape processes drive global initiatives and elevate compliance standards across multiple business units in a highly regulated fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of Foreign Trade Operations analysts and specialists driving performance development and engagement across multiple complex business units.
- Oversee all import and export activities ensuring full compliance with Annex 24 Annex 30 USMCA R8 COFEPRIS and all applicable federal and international regulations.
- Manage the accurate preparation review and retention of all import/export documentation ensuring 100% alignment with shipment data customer instructions and regulatory requirements.
- Implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency legal compliance and documentation accuracy across air sea and land transportation modes.
- Collaborate with internal and external compliance partners to maintain robust compliance systems and mitigate regulatory risks.
- Partner with customs brokers government agencies and industry associations to facilitate smooth trade operations and resolve issues quickly.
- Drive the launch and execution of global projects related to foreign trade supporting new product introductions and strategic business requirements.
- Communicate policies updates and risk-prevention measures to cross-functional teamsincluding Finance Engineering Operations Quality and Legalto ensure organizational alignment.
What you need:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Foreign Trade International Business or a related field.
- Previous Experience in regulated industries
- Minimum 5 years of experience in foreign trade operations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading teams of at least three people.
- Proven experience with import and export processes via air sea and land transportation.
- Strong working knowledge of Annex 24 Annex 30 USMCA R8 COFEPRIS and other foreign trade regulations.
- Advanced English level
Preferred:
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional areas such as Finance Engineering Advanced Operations Quality and Legal.
- Previous experience in Medical Devices industries
