Position Overview
We are seeking an experiencedCNC Machinist IIIto join our advanced aerospace manufacturing this role youll be responsible for manufacturing complex high-precision parts from materials such asaluminum titanium and high-temperature alloyswith minimal supervision. Youll also help guide and train junior machinists while overseeing multiple CNC machines including large5-axis machining centers.
TheCNC Machinist IIIwill play a key leadership role in ensuring quality precision and efficiency across the machining departmentcontributing to company success inQuality Cost Delivery Safety and Attitude (QCDSA). Essential Responsibilities
Guide and trainCNC Machinists I & IIon setting up and operating 3- 4- and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
Read and interpretcomplex blueprints tolerances and work instructionsto plan machining operations.
Perform detailedin-process inspectionsusing precision measurement tools (micrometers calipers gauges CMM etc.).
Makeprogram edits offset adjustments and calculationsto maintain tight tolerances.
Monitor machine performance ensure tooling accuracy and maintain consistent part quality.
Leadroot cause investigationsand continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure regular equipment maintenance and promotesafety-first work practices.
Maintain accurateproduction and inspection recordsper AS9100 standards.
Direct and assist withdeburring finishing and inspection of partsfor precision fit and finish.
Maintain aclean organized and efficient workspace.
Use and editG-codeand CNC control parameters as needed for advanced machining.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Completion of aCNC machining certificate or vocational training programpreferred.
Experience
710 yearsof CNC machining experience inaerospace defense or medical manufacturing.
Expert-level proficiency readingblueprints drawings and specifications.
Advanced use ofmicrometers calipers and measurement tools.
Strong working knowledge ofAS9100 aerospace quality standards.
Computer Skills
Proficient inCAD CAM MRP and ERP systems.
Competent withMicrosoft Officeand related software.
Personal Attributes

Excellentleadership communication and mentoringskills.
Ability to provide technical feedback to improveproduct quality and cost efficiency.
Other Requirements
Must belegally authorized to work in the U.S.
Adherence toOSHA NADCAP ISO9000/AS9100 ITAR and FAAstandards.
May require internal certifications (Forklift Slings/Cranes FPV etc.).
Physical Requirements
Stand walk bend and reach for812 hours per shift.
Lift carry push or pull up to50 lbs regularly.
Toleratemanufacturing noise vibration and temperature variations.
Must wear requiredPPE(safety glasses gloves hearing protection).
Work Environment
Active production floor environment withmoderate noise levels.
