Senior Data Consultant (MS Fabric) | WFH | AU Client

• Engaging with stakeholders Facilitate workshops gather data requirements and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences including senior executives.
  
• Designing and implementing data solutions Work with Power BI (DAX) Data Engineering (SQL) or both to create scalable analytics solutions.
  
• Data modelling and architecture Apply data best practices to ensure solutions are efficient maintainable and aligned with business objectives.
  
• Collaborating on projects Work on large enterprise initiatives or smaller agile projects leveraging modern data platforms like Microsoft Fabric Synapse Snowflake or Databricks.

Requirements

• Business Intelligence OR Data Engineering expertise:
  
• Power BI (DAX) Intermediate level required.
  
• SQL (for data engineering) Intermediate level required.
  
• Data fundamentals: Understanding of data modelling principles and best practices. Ability to workshop data requirements with business users.
  
• Technical flexibility: Experience in Synapse Databricks or Snowflake (Fabric is a plus). Understanding of data pipelines ETL or analytics workflows.
  
• Consulting-style soft skills (without needing prior consulting experience):
  
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
  
• Comfortable engaging with senior executives.
  
• Ability to explain complex data concepts in simple terms
