HIRING IT Officer/Manager

Location: Lagos

Work Schedule: Monday Saturday: 8 am to 6 pm

About Company: Our client is a retail brand specializing in home goods furniture gift items and décor products.

Job Summary: The company is seeking to hire an experienced an IT Officer to provide technical support across the store(s) ensure all IT systems equipment and networks operate smoothly support staff with day-to-day technical issues maintain critical retail systems such as tills handheld devices self-checkout machines and back-office systems Also help implement new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

System and Database Administration.
Manage Website.
Software installation configuration database backup and restore/recovery maintenance.
Windows operating System maintenance and repair.
Performance of troubleshooting and diagnosis of hardware/software
Provision of solution to network failure.
Any other issues that needs the IT officers attention.
Coordinate with procurement and purchasing teams to place orders for replenishment stock ensuring timely delivery and availability of inventory items.
Support inventory and stock management systems ensuring smooth operation
Develop and implement effective social media strategies including to create curate and manage engaging content across all social media platforms.
Monitor listen and respond to users in a positive and professional social media advertising campaigns to drive targeted traffic and sales.
Track and report on social media performance and ROI.
Any other assigned task by the management.

Requirements

Bsc/HND/ND in IT related course with minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
Strong knowledge of computer hardware software and troubleshooting methods.
Experience supporting Windows environments POS systems and networked devices.
Good understanding of basic networking (Wi-Fi routers/switches IP addressing).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues simply.
Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
Previous IT support experience in retail or a similar customer-facing environment.
Familiarity with retail systems such as POS back-office stock systems or handheld scanners.
