FanDuel is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to join our dynamic Payments and Fraud Business Operations team. The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for developing and performing data analysis to detect and prevent fraud & optimize our support function. The Business Operations Analyst will partner with internal teams to contribute to our Fraud and support Strategy across all FanDuels products (Sportsbook Casino Daily Fantasy etc). This includes working with a wide range of teams from Analytics Payments Product Legal and Commercial to innovate and optimize fraud & support strategies all with the goal of a customer first experience to help optimize our support team and build strategies to protect our platform from would-be fraudsters.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN

Partner with Internal and External Stakeholders to support and optimize our entire Payments stack with responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Assist with day-to-day payment performance analyses troubleshooting issues across acquiring payouts and APMs.
- Monitor authorization rates settlement performance and payment success metrics; identify trends and partner with processors to drive improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Finance and Risk teams to optimize payment routing cost efficiency and user experience.
- Support the creation automation and maintenance of real-time payment reporting dashboards ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct root-cause analyses for payment exceptions declines and processing errors escalating or remediating as needed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve payment processes through automation tooling enhancements and new solution development.
- Prepare and maintain monthly payment performance and cost metrics for Business Leaders and the Executive team.

- Bachelors degree in finance or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in an environment of complexity ambiguity changing priorities and flex based on demand
- Extremely detail oriented with superb organizational skills.
- SQL proficiency
- Python / Tableau experience preferred
- Strong ability to create excel models and presentations
- Working knowledge of payments systems.
- Knowledge of sports betting and online gambling a huge plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $66000 - $83000 USD which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience location business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical vision and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation including but not limited to cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
