Job Summary

We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain residential and commercial buildings located in Downtown Oahu. All candidates must successfully complete a background check have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle. Applicants should possess hands-on experience in maintenance including basic skills in plumbing electrical work HVAC carpentry painting drywall and grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs including:

-Painting

- Plumbing

- Electrical work

- Mechanical systems

- Heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)

- Painting/Drywall

- Grounds maintenance

- Access small spaces measuring 18 inches by 18 inches.

- Ensure that mechanical equipment and systems are functioning properly and perform repairs as needed.

- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with property managers vendors and customers.

- Engage in constant movement including standing walking bending and stretching throughout shifts.

- Lift push and pull weights ranging from 50 to 75 pounds.

- Walk and stand for extended periods and bend frequently during the shift.

- Create and maintain work orders. Create and maintain purchase orders.

- Complete any additional maintenance-related tasks as assigned by the HBM supervisor or property management.

Skills/Qualifications:

- Must pass a background check.

- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required.

- High school diploma or GED preferred

- Customer service-oriented approach

- General maintenance experience

- Basic mathematical skills

- Previous experience in creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Eagerness to learn and grow

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours a week) **Must be available to work 3 Saturdays / 3 months of the year (total of 9 Saturdays annually)**

Compensation: $20.00/per hour
