We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to join our diverse and inclusive healthcare team. Responsibilities

As a General Practitioner your key responsibilities will include:

  • Offering patient-centered care through consultations diagnosis and treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Conducting thorough patient examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests including blood work imaging and other relevant results.
  • Educating patients on preventive healthcare strategies healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
  • Referring patients to specialists or other healthcare services when necessary while maintaining continuity of care.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated on medical advancements.
  • Contributing to an inclusive safe and welcoming environment for patients team members and the wider community.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • A recognized Medical Degree (MBBS MD or equivalent) and completed General Practice residency training.
  • Relevant licensure and registration to practice as a General Practitioner in the specified region or country.
  • Strong clinical skills and a sound knowledge of evidence-based medical practices.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and empathetic skills to connect with patients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
  • Ability to prioritize workload multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard of ethics and professionalism.
  • A passion for promoting health equity and a patient-first approach to care.

Day-to-day

Your daily activities as a General Practitioner will include:

  • Conducting patient consultations and managing their medical needs for a range of conditions.
  • Reviewing patient test results and updating patient care plans as necessary.
  • Prescribing appropriate medications and advising on dosages and potential side effects.
  • Managing follow-up care to ensure patients progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Coordinating with nurses specialists and other medical personnel to optimize patient care.
  • Responding to urgent medical needs and handling on-call duties as required depending on your schedule.
  • Attending team meetings training sessions or community outreach programs to foster collaboration and professional development.
