Job Summary
Your Tasks
- Membership in the Payment & Basket Platform Team responsible for the development maintenance and operation of highly available backend systems hosted on GCP
- Significant influence on solution architecture in accordance with enterprise architecture principles and coding standards
- Assurance of efficient product backlog delivery
- Contribution to backlog management with emphasis on technical debt and product quality
- Improvement and automation of existing processes and solutions through Infrastructure as Code
- Advocacy for technology best practices and assurance of their adherence by product teams
- Provision of support to product teams in cloud services web security and continuous integration pipelines
- Active participation in the technical community for Cloud competency
Your Profile
- Strong interest in secure highly scalable multi-region hosted backend systems
- Fundamental knowledge of system architectures network protocols and operating systems (desirable)
- Profound expertise in configuration and maintenance of cloud platform services (e.g. GCP Azure AWS) using Infrastructure as Code
- Familiarity with common DevOps technologies (Kubernetes Terraform GitHub Nginx GitOps etc.)
- Skills in application firewall configuration including rate limitations and bot detection rules (advantageous)
- Good knowledge of programming languages (especially ) and document-based databases
- Experience in cross-functional teams within agile enterprise environments (advantageous)
- Fluency in English (German language skills are a plus)
