- Responsible for end-to-end design and development of wire harness schematics for automotive applications.
- Designing harness architecture and wire routing based on product plan requirements.
- Determining appropriate wire and fuse sizing to meet system specifications.
- Implementing and optimizing CAN network layouts within the vehicle architecture.
- Assessing product plans and translating them into harness complexity and schematic designs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support harness design development validation and release.
- Reviewing and interpreting wiring harness drawings and ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
Qualifications :
- Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Experience with DFMEA DVP&R and DFSS development tools and processes
- Working knowledge of CAD systems such as NX and Catia
- Fluency in both Spanish and English
- Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with automotive wiring harness drawings and specifications
- Experience with web publishing and data management in SharePoint environments
