About The Opportunity
This is a hands-on management role suited to an experienced operator who thrives in a busy multi-tasking environment. As Dance Academy Manager you will take ownership of day-to-day operations across two studio locations ensuring staff systems and services run seamlessly.
This role is less about dance teaching and more about leading people managing complexity and running a high-performing business.
Reporting directly to the Director your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily operations across both studio sites
- Tracking budgets payments and operational reporting
- Leading teachers and administration staff to consistently high standards
- Handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced customer-facing environment
- Coordinating programs events marketing initiatives and calendar planning
- Managing staff onboarding scheduling performance reviews and leadership support
- Ensuring exceptional customer experience across enrolments enquiries and retention
About You
You are an experienced manager first and foremost confident organised and calm under pressure. Youve likely already run a dance school creative studio or similar service-based business and understand what it takes to keep a large operation running smoothly.
A background in dance or working with children is helpful but proven management and operational leadership experience is essential.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing a busy multi-faceted operation
- Confidence working with systems reporting planning and budgets
- Excellent communication organisation and problem-solving abilities
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
