Salary: Grade E starting salary is 28598 (level one) raising to 31022 (level four) per annum

About the Role

As an Assistive Technology Officer within Nottingham City Councils Housing Services youll play a vital role in helping people live safely and independently. Youll be part of our dedicated Assistive Technology Team delivering a 24/7 service to private customers and through corporate contracts.

This is a varied and rewarding role where youll respond to alarm activations and emergency calls carry out home visits and install and maintain assistive technology equipment. Youll also provide clear guidance to customers liaise with families and professionals and ensure accurate record-keeping to support high-quality service delivery.

Your work will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable residents including those with complex needs. Youll help ensure that the right support is in place whether through telecare telehealth or emergency response and contribute to promoting independence and wellbeing across our communities.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience of delivering service to vulnerable groups within the community and an understanding of services available
  2. Self-Motivation and able to work with minimum supervision
  3. Empathy and Sensitivity towards meeting the needs and aspirations of customers
  4. Ability to make accurate and timely decisions often in pressurised situations and to act tactfully and with sensitivity and curtesy at all times.
  5. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  6. Proven ability to work to a high level of accuracy
