Rate of Pay: 21.14 - 28.28 per hour
Summary:
The Housing Services Officer acts as a frontline contact for residents handling a wide range of housing-related enquiries across phone email website CRM and digital apps. You will promote early intervention ensure accurate data management support digital inclusion and provide high-quality tenancy advice.
Responsibilities:
- Act as part of an agile front door service responding quickly and professionally to customer enquiries.
- Use modern workflow systems to process service requests enquiries payments and transactional tasks efficiently.
- Update systems and documentation to ensure all data is accurate and compliant.
- Promote and support digital and self-serve options encouraging channel shift.
- Carry out robust assessments recording risks and vulnerabilities and escalating where required.
- Contribute to service improvement projects to streamline customer interactions.
Essentials:
- Experience providing advice and practical assistance to the public within a social housing public sector or similar setting.
- Experience working with multicultural communities.
- Knowledge of housing services in rental or leasehold sectors
- Confident with IT systems including Microsoft 365 databases and spreadsheets.
- Strong customer focus with empathy and understanding of diverse needs.
- Ability to collect share and maintain accurate data within GDPR requirements
