An Associate Teacher (AT) co-teaches students alongside a certified teacher in a special education setting. The AT shares responsibilities with their teaching partner in planning instruction communication documentation and maintaining an enriching learning environment. The Associate Teacher collaborates with teaching and clinical staff to provide students with effective education.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Bachelors degree in education or child development is preferred
Proper understanding of field specific terminology
Previous experience working with children
Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software
