Job Summary

Position Overview:

Linde is seeking a Key Account Manager. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for one of the largest electronic onsite customers in United States and will be responsible for supporting the customer at daily basis managing change orders for ongoing projects renewing business and identifying developing and closing new business opportunities for this customer in United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs and Linde offerings in order to develop a value offering to the customer.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with decision makers and end users at all levels for customers locations in United States and headquarters overseas.
  • Prospecting qualifying working with technical resources to develop customer solutions develop proposals edit contracts and manage negotiations and work closely with Linde legal counsel to thoroughly understand explain and negotiate supply agreements. Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Liaise with Global Regions and Businesses where customer currently does business to ensure specific customer requirements and operational practices are imported and are part of the winning strategy.
  • Take ownership of the opportunities P&L from the start to the end of the first year of operations to ensure that business model case and all assumptions are delivered.
  • Working closely with Engineering and Project Business Lead to make sure smooth execution of ongoing projects for the customer and ensure projects on are on schedule and on budget while the project economics are maintained.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or similar technical discipline; MBA a plus
  • Seven to ten years business to business technical sales experience. Relevant working experience in APAC region is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency in developing internal and external presentations and proposals
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of and/or experience of high purity gas systems high purity components and advanced analytical system
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills including communication to senior management
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English
