Lead and/or support Lean Six Sigma projects to improve key business metrics. Monitor key metrics to sustain the benefits of completed projects and maintain a pipeline of improvement opportunities.
Key responsabilities:
Deploy Kaizen methodology in key production processes to drive continuous improvement.
Implement Lean tools such as 6S Standard Work and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
Lead or support Six Sigma projects using DMAIC and/or Lean methodologies.
Analyze data to support process design and re-engineering initiatives.
Collaborate with process owners to improve business process metrics.
Organize and facilitate Continuous Improvement workshops and trainings.
Lead cost reduction initiatives and coordinate implementation with departments.
Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement by sharing best practices across teams
Required:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial or related field).
Minimum 5 years of experience in Operational Process Excellence Environments.
Experience in medical device life sciences or other highly regulated industrial sectors.
Certification in Lean Manufacturing or equivalent.
Practical experience applying DMAIC methodology and in operational and process excellence methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Design Excellence).
Proven experience improving critical business metrics through process improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel Visio).
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification;
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Preferred:
Experience with statistical analysis software (Minitab or equivalent).
Black Belt certification (Operational Transactional or Design for Six Sigma).
