Working Student within Mechanical Systems Installation (MSI) Airframe Engineering (d/f/m)

You are a full time student looking for a working student position and want to get to know Mechanical Systems Installation activities Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!

Duration: 12 months

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least 18.53 per hour depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Definition working student
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education and who are employed in a reasonably long fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the companys premises. A working students main focus remains on their studies which is why during term-time working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
Finkenwerder
Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Supporting the A350 MSI lead-engineers on transnational workpackages with a wide range of responsibilities as e.g. data analysis planning-activities follow up with stakeholders for action-closure creating presentations
Administrative & Planning Support: KPI data collection status-reporting and preparing internal communications.
Cross-Departmental Coordination: Aiding in the coordination of activities across our transnational teams and external suppliers
Technical Support: you will have the opportunity to contribute to R&T projects.

Desired skills and qualifications

Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field to Engineering.
Good level in english is a must.
Strong analytical skills and an interest in engineering.
Experience with data analytics and presentation software (e.g. Google Slides)
Problem-solving mindst and attention to details.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic corporate environment.
