Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines including inboard and outboard engines.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues in various marine systems such as propulsion electrical fuel and hydraulic systems.
Conduct inspections of marine vessels to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Replace or repair damaged or wornout parts including engines transmissions propellers and other components.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new marine systems and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed including repairs maintenance and inspections.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and offering maintenance advice.
Test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Assist with the ordering and inventory management of parts and tools.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or a degree in marine technology/mechanics is preferred.
Proven experience as a Marine Mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of marine engines systems and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
