Job Summary

Duties & responsibilities:

1. Supervise the Installation and configuration computer hardware operating systems and applications.

2. Coordinate with the staff or clients through a series of actions to help set up systems or resolve issues.

3. Troubleshoot system and network problems diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults

4. Provide support including procedural documentation and relevant reports

5. Respond within agreed time limits to callouts Support LANs WANs network Internet systems.

6. Maintenance system efficiency.

7. Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.

8. Troubleshoot problems reported by users.

9. Make recommendations for future upgrades.

10. Maintain network and system security.

11. Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.

12. Evaluate and modify systems performance.

13. Identify user needs.

14. Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of system accounting.

15. Maintain network facilities in individual machines such as drivers and settings of work computers as well as printers.

16. Administer servers desktop computers printers routers switches firewalls phones personal digital assistants smartphones software deployment security updates.

17. Install and configure software and hardware

18. Set up accounts and workstations

19. Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

20. Ensure security through access controls backups and firewalls

21. Upgrade systems with new releases and models

22. Create change and delete user accounts per request.

23. Manage company systems (Attendance payroll accounting etc.

24. Manage and monitoring CCTV systems

25. Manage and control system file and data backups

26. Coordinate and Facilitate with Global policies/direction on bestpractice asset management for regional IT hardware software and equipment;

27. Assist with the overall business technology planning providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems;

28. Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs today and in the future;

29. Coach and mentor the team in relation to methodologies delivery processes and best practices in order to ensure adoption and consistency;

30. Ensuring the additional specialist requirements that accompany a modern lab environment are fulfilled;

31. Lead the process within the business to identify relevant strategic technology projects;

32. Develop the IT team and drive performance management;

33. Working closely with the CIO to define company policies and ensure compliance;

34. Developing our existing approach to process improvement and project management across the organization;

35. Acting as project lead on all internal IT projects;

36. Managing the technical IT Service Desk team and Infrastructure personnel;

37. Championing innovation and the utilization of technology to grow our performance;

38. Deliver a best in class service to the business;

39. Manage the technology budget;

40. Provide leadership and management of the team both internal and suppliers.

41. Manage all IT purchasing issues.

Requirements

BSc. Computer Information System/ computer science/ software engineer

7 years experience in networking and IT support

Certificate in MCITP Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is advantage

Certificate in CCNA (Cisco Certified System Associate) is advantage

Certificate in MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solution Export) is advantage
