We are looking for a talented and experienced Catering Chef with expertise in catering operations international cuisine and Italian food. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in largescale food preparation attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team. This role requires excellent culinary skills creativity in menu and the ability to deliver highquality dishes while maintaining consistency and adhering to food safety standards. The Catering Chef will be a key part of the kitchen team but will not hold a head chef position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and preparing catering menus focusing on international and Italian cuisine.
- Execute largescale meal preparation while maintaining quality presentation and taste consistency.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely food service.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure cost efficiency.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness organization and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in plating and buffet setups for catered events ensuring an appealing and professional presentation.
- Support the head chef and other team members in kitchen operations including stock management and ingredient preparation.
- Adapt to different event requirements and ensure highquality food service for both small and largescale events.
