Job Summary
We are seeking a Principal Engineer Public Health to join our esteemed organisation in Bengaluru India. This pivotal role combines advanced engineering expertise with a deep understanding of public health systems to drive innovative solutions that improve community wellbeing.
- Lead the design and implementation of largescale public health engineering projects ensuring alignment with local and international standards
- Develop and oversee comprehensive strategies to address complex public health challenges through engineering solutions
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including health professionals policymakers and community stakeholders to identify and prioritise public health initiatives
- Conduct advanced data analysis and modelling to inform decisionmaking and policy recommendations
- Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Represent the organisation in highlevel meetings conferences and forums related to public health engineering
- Ensure all projects adhere to relevant health and safety regulations environmental standards and ethical guidelines
- Drive research and development efforts to pioneer new technologies and methodologies in public health engineering
Qualifications :
- Masters degree or PhD in Engineering Public Health or a closely related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or similar public health certification is highly desirable
- Minimum of 10 years experience in engineering roles with a significant focus on public health projects
- Demonstrated expertise in public health systems environmental health epidemiology and health policy
- Proficiency in advanced engineering principles public health methodologies and data analysis techniques
- Strong project management skills with a track record of leading complex multidisciplinary projects
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences
- Proven leadership experience including mentoring junior staff and managing crossfunctional teams
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations both local and international
- Willingness to travel within India and internationally as required
Additional Information :
Candidates with middle east experience will be an added advantage.
