What youll do
You will join a cross-functional squad building the data foundations of a next-generation energy modelling platform. Your work will turn complex market data and legacy assets into reliable production-ready data practice you will:
Design build and maintain robust data pipelines that ingest transform and validate large-scale energy datasets.
Work closely with data scientists and software engineers to operationalise models and expose outputs through APIs and product features.
Develop clean well-structured data models that support forecasting scenario analysis and interactive analytics through 2050.
Help migrate legacy assets such as Excel-based models and refinery databases into secure commercial-grade data products.
Implement best practice for testing monitoring documentation and version control across all pipelines.
Continuously improve performance reliability and usability of the data platform within Snowflake and AWS.

Solid experience designing and running production data pipelines
Strong Python skills and familiarity with modern data and ETL tooling
Experience with cloud data platforms ideally AWS and Snowflake
Good understanding of data modelling testing and version control
Experience with time series or forecasting pipelines is a plus
Domain experience in energy or oil and gas or a strong motivation to learn quickly
Clear communication skills and a collaborative pragmatic mindset
