Schedule: Monday - Friday / 1st or 2nd shift available
Were seeking an experienced and results driven Production Manager to join a stable and well established leader in plastic injection this role you will oversee daily production operations ensuring efficiency quality and safety across all manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day production activities ensuring schedules output and quality standards are consistently met.
- Supervise and develop production staff fostering a culture of accountability safety and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and improve production workflows reducing downtime and maximizing equipment utilization.
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure compliance with ISO GMP and OSHA standards.
- Resource Management: Oversee allocation of labor materials and equipment to meet production goals.
- Lead Lean and Kaizen initiatives to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Work closely with engineering supply chain and maintenance teams to resolve issues and meet customer commitments.
- Track KPIs such as OEE scrap rates and on time delivery; prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and production systems.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex production schedules.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent organizational communication and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing or related field preferred.
