About the Role

Are you ready to shape the data foundation behind one of the Netherlands fastest-growing mobility platforms This is your opportunity to take ownership of a modern Azure data environment guide a small team and influence the long-term data strategy for the organisation.

In this role you will combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership. You will design architecture build robust pipelines improve data quality and help the organisation become truly data-driven. At the same time you will provide mentorship and direction as the senior/lead for a compact highly motivated data team.

Responsibilities

Lead as a senior/working team lead for a small team consisting of a data engineer and BI expert.
Build optimise and scale the Azure data platform including ETL processes security and overall performance.
Connect new data sources and turn them into usable insights for internal teams and external partners.
Perform SQL optimisation and build solid data models for dashboards and Power BI reports.
Collaborate with the B2B Product Owner to deliver value for advertisers through the advisory tool the Performance Improver.
Drive data quality improvements and foster innovation within the data team.

You ensure that data is accurate accessible and truly leveraged across the organisation.

What You Bring

5 years of experience in a data-driven environment.
Experience coaching guiding or leading colleagues.
Strong knowledge of SQL Azure ETL processes and Power BI.
Hands-on experience with Python (pandas numpy) and preferably Pentaho Data Integration.
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
A proactive decisive and quality-focused mindset.

What You Can Expect:

A competitive salary between 5250 and 7550 depending on experience.
13th month and 8% holiday allowance.
One-year contract with the intention of becoming permanent.
