DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our high-performance technology this role you will work closely with software developers traders and quantitative researchers to maintain and optimize the trading systems and infrastructure that drive our mission-critical operations.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to make a tangible impact on system stability reliability and performance.

You will design and automate workflows and data pipelines develop tools to enhance system efficiency and support developers in diagnosing and resolving intricate issues across programming networking and infrastructure layers. You will also take part in deploying and configuring applications using modern configuration management tools and managing core infrastructure across containerized on-premise and co-located data center environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design build and automate workflows tools and data pipelines to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex application networking and OS-level issues in collaboration with developers and technical teams.
• Deploy and configure applications using configuration management technologies.
• Manage and maintain core infrastructure across containerized environments on-prem systems and co-located data centers.
• Support the broader technology organization by improving observability documentation and system performance.
• Assist in operational support and ensure the overall health and stability of production systems.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of professional experience in DevOps SRE or a similar high-performance technical role.
• Strong background in troubleshooting across applications networks and operating systems.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux environments both GUI and command-line.
• Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python Bash PowerShell or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization databases and observability best practices.
• Familiarity with structured data formats including JSON XML and Parquet.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
• High attention to detail with a focus on documentation and process improvement.
• Ability to work on-site in our Chicago office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
