What you will be doing:
- Oversee daily nursing operations under the direction of the DON and Leadership Team.
- Supervise staff and ensure adherence to regulatory standards facility policies and professional guidelines.
- Assist in reviewing and updating policies and procedures; ensure policies align with clinical practice and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Safety Program Emergency Preparedness and documentation compliance.
- Ensure safe medication management including storage ordering and administration practices.
- Provide guidance to staff patients physicians and visitors including during crises or emergency situations.
- Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and support risk mitigation.
- Assist with Risk Management activities including root cause analysis of adverse events.
- Promote a culture of safety and investigate patient visitor or staff concerns escalating when appropriate.
- Assist the DON with staff meetings and communication of facility updates.
- Perform duties as needed to maintain patient safety and efficient facility operations.
Experience you will need:
- Current active unencumbered RN license in Georgia.
- Bachelors degree in a health-related or business field.
- Management experience in a medical setting; ASC experience preferred.
- Strong ability to multitask prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Accurate and organized recordkeeping skills.
- Strong knowledge of clinical practice regulatory compliance risk management and quality improvement.
- Effective communication leadership skills and a professional accountable approach.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships across the organization.
