Our underground teams are essential to ensuring the smooth operation of mining sites and we are looking for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our Conveyor Belts Team.
The Role:
As a Mechanical Fitter in our Conveyor Belts Team you will:
Install maintain and repair underground conveyor belt systems.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults efficiently and safely.
Work collaboratively in a high-performing team environment.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards site procedures and quality requirements.
What Were Looking For:
Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or equivalent experience in mining or heavy industry.
Experience in underground coal operations is essential.
Skills matrix (competencies signed by site SSE)
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to safety and ability to work in challenging underground conditions.
Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
Roster & Pay:
Standard roster: 4 days on / 3 days off (other rosters available on discussion).
Competitive industry rates.
Permanently site based.
