Job Summary
Job Title: HLS Engineer Embedded Systems
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HLS Engineer to join our embedded systems team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and optimizing hardware accelerators using High-Level Synthesis tools for embedded platforms. This role involves translating high-level algorithms into efficient hardware architectures ensuring performance power and area targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop hardware designs using High-Level Synthesis (HLS) tools (e.g. Xilinx Vivado HLS Intel HLS Compiler).
- Convert C/C/SystemC algorithms into RTL for FPGA or ASIC targets.
- Optimize designs for performance power and area (PPA) constraints.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate accelerators into embedded systems.
- Perform functional verification and timing analysis of generated RTL.
- Debug and validate designs on FPGA platforms.
- Document design specifications implementation details and test results.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in C/C SystemC and HLS methodologies.
- Experience with FPGA design flow and tools (Xilinx Intel or similar).
- Knowledge of embedded systems architecture and real-time constraints.
- Familiarity with RTL design Verilog/VHDL and synthesis tools.
- Understanding of hardware/software co-design principles.
- Hands-on experience with performance optimization and resource utilization.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DSP algorithms image/video processing or AI accelerators.
- Knowledge of AXI interfaces memory hierarchy and SoC integration.
- Familiarity with Linux device drivers and embedded OS.
