As a Locum Neurologist you will play a crucial role in providing specialized medical care while working closely with our recruitment team to ensure the best talent is placed in critical positions. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality neurological evaluations and patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostics
- Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately
- Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurology
- Assist in training and mentoring junior medical staff
- Engage with recruitment teams to identify staffing needs
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Associate-level experience in neurology or related field
- Current medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
No call requirement
Daily Volume: 10 patients
Duties: Inpatient vascular consults only
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
