Overview

We are seeking our new Director Alliances & Partnerships to join the SBS team!

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our strategic alliances and partnerships. This role is critical to developing our ecosystem generating new revenue streams and fostering innovation through high-impact collaborations. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth industry knowledge a strong network and a proven ability to lead complex large-scale partnerships involving multiple stakeholders.

This role may be based in Paris London or Brussels with the option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the strategic roadmap for alliances and partnerships in accordance with business objectives.
  • Identify potential partners across all sectors and assess collaboration opportunities.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements ensuring the creation of mutual value.
  • Manage relationships with partners ensuring performance monitoring problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (sales marketing product legal etc.) to ensure the successful implementation of partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events conferences and meetings with partners.

  • Mettre en œuvre la feuille de route stratégique pour les alliances et les partenariats en accord avec les objectifs commerciaux.

  • Gérer les relations avec les partenaires en assurant le suivi des performances la résolution des problèmes et lamélioration continue.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes internes (ventes marketing produits juridique etc.) pour garantir la mise en œuvre réussie des partenariats.
  • Surveiller les tendances du marché et les activités des concurrents afin didentifier de nouvelles opportunités de partenariat.
  • Représenter lentreprise lors dévénements sectoriels de conférences et de réunions avec les partenaires.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in business strategy or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Over 10 years of experience in strategic partnerships alliances or business development in the financial services sector.
  • In-depth understanding of financial ecosystems regulatory environments and emerging technologies (e.g. open banking core banking digital payments).
  • Good understanding of regional market dynamics and cultural nuances.
  • Exceptional skills in leadership negotiation and stakeholder management.
  • Experience in managing regional teams and working within a global matrix organization.
  • Proven experience in achieving results through strategic partnerships.
  • Experience working with cross-border teams and navigating complex regulatory environments.
