Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and support a Dentist Office in the West Mobile area.

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

Set up and break down treatment rooms before and after appointments

Sterilize instruments and maintain proper infection control standards

Take and develop digital X-rays

Record medical histories and update patient charts

Prepare materials for impressions fillings and other procedures

Provide excellent chair-side assistance and patient care

Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene

Maintain inventory and ensure clinical areas are clean and organized

Requirements

Basic Life Saving Training required or willing to obtain before starting

Prior dental assisting experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Positive team-oriented attitude

Dental Assistant Certification is a huge plus and can increase pay
