About the Role
As the Principal Consultant for Corporate ESG Services you will develop and manage the ESG advisory services offering within the wider ESG Corporate Services Business Unit with support from Business Unit Manager. Acting as commercial lead and providing support and direction. To deliver projects to the required quality and driving business growth and development activities. Provide an expert point of reference on technical delivery.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Role of ESG advisory subject matter expert for UK
- Lead the definition of the current and future market market drivers and service offerings for ESG advisory services
- Support the development and implementation a robust proactive Go-to-Market programs to achieve ambitious commercial growth.
- Provide tender responses to client requests for work and input into large bids through the Bid Support Team as required
- Keep abreast of current ESG trends legislation national and international standards and guidelines and technical developments
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Providing support mentorship and leadership to team members
- Delivery of projects to budget and to the required quality

Who are we looking for
- We are looking for someone well established in Corporate ESG Advisory services and currently working at Principal Consultant
- Relevant first degree (e.g. environmental engineering sustainability etc) and higher degree desirable
- Strong commercial acumen
- Well established professional network
- A demonstratable experience in sustainability consulting or corporate ESG leadership with a proven track record of delivering complex high-impact projects.
- Experience in ESRS/CSRD IFRS S1/S2 TCFD and GRI.
- Ability to engage and influence internal and external C-suite stakeholders building trusted relationships and shaping strategic sustainability decisions.
