As part of our ongoing commitment to physical security we are seeking a skilled Physical Security Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of maintaining a safe and secure environment and committed to safeguarding our assets employees and visitors. Additionally the role involves providing exceptional customer support and handling security-related queries to ensure a secure and efficient environment. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Physical addition this role will frequently be partnered with the Facilities Technology Compliance and Internal Audit Teams.
The day-to-day Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Monitoring access control and CCTV systems for alerts and errors
Programming & troubleshooting security systems
Managing new security projects and installations
Commissioning of new systems
Performing maintenance and upgrades on current systems
Managing and working with security vendors during installations
Maintaining programming documentation for security systems
Maintain security technical standards
Working with IT on system issues and projects
Assisting with and providing requested evidence for audits.
Assisting in conducting investigations
Conduct site physical risk analysis
Respond to request or incident tickets
Provide technical support to the Physical Security Team
