Job Summary
Backend Engineer Event Driven API State Machine3 5 years in Node TypeScript backend PostgreSQL event driven systems Familiarity with CI CD and containerised deployments Design implement REST GraphQL endpoints that expose Heureka s core services Own the PostgreSQL backed state machine events snapshots MVCC Build adapters for external services payment shipping etc with retries circuit breakers Write unit integration E2E tests Jest Supertest pg test Contribute to CI CD pipelines GitHub Actions GitLab CI Must have skills TypeScript Mastery deep knowledge of generics type guards and interface design PostgreSQL Advanced SQL writing efficient queries window functions partitioning indexing Event Driven Architecture State Machines design deterministic event schemas idempotent handlers XState or similar Testing Unit Integration E2E Jest Supertest integration tests against PostgreSQL Version Control Branching Strategy GitFlow or trunk based PR reviews
