Key job responsibilities
- Manage high-visibility automation programs focusing on quality capacity and future design innovations
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Reliability Maintenance Design and Innovation Engineering teams
- Execute complex engineering program deliverables and operational goals
- Analyze performance dashboards and automation logs to drive strategic problem-solving
- Monitor and improve Material Handling Equipment performance across the network

A day in the life
Your day will be dynamic and impactful balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. You might start by analyzing performance dashboards then collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative material handling solutions. Some days will involve deep technical problem-solving while others focus on stakeholder presentations and program coordination. Travel will be cyclical aligned with key project milestones and implementation phases.

Based in Seattle and Nashville we create thoughtful solutions through cross-team partnerships and a commitment to innovation. - 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Bachelors degree in engineering mechanical operations supply chain business administration or equivalent STEM field

- Masters degree in supply chain business engineering finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience in operational logistics/supply chain manufacturing transportation general management or an engineering role
- Experience with Six Sigma lean manufacturing
- Experience using MS Excel MS Project AutoCAD and commercial off-the-shelf technologies such as Tableau SQL or equivalent
- Experience designing complex systems for automation in logistics or manufacturing or experience with product development in automotive aerospace automation equipment or related field
- Experience leading large-scale technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership business case development realizing customer benefits and successful program completion

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
