The Production Support Laboratory Assistant II will perform tasks supporting the manufacture of modified oligonucleotides in a fast-paced environment. This role is key to ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will work any production support shift within the Oligo & Chemical Productions department. The position requires strict adherence to ISO 9001 & 13485 regulations and GMP practices. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an entry-level role with significant growth potential!
Working hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Perform all assigned job functions per detailed procedures as directed by a supervisor.
- Replenish materials throughout multiple areas to ensure seamless operations.
- Dispose of hazardous waste responsibly across various locations.
- Clean glassware and other laboratory equipment and spaces to maintain a pristine working environment.
- Archive small-scale processed oligos meticulously.
- Conduct monthly quarterly and semi-annual preventative maintenance on Liquid Handling Purification and Synthesis instruments.
- Prepare instruments for daily production activities including instrument flushes calibrations water carboy filling refilling bottled reagents and autoclaving.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams including EHS Facilities Procurement Production Material Handling and Operations to drive successful outcomes.
- Stock inventory in assigned locations using both manual and barcode scanning methods.
- Apply inventory tracking systems to monitor and review supply levels regularly.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to function as a great teammate.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to follow detailed directions accurately.
- Capability to work independently without close supervision.
- Competence in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations including addition subtraction multiplication and division using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Additional Information :
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: $ 18.00/Hourly
Maximum: $ 33.05/Hourly
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for the California -based position. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as: experience skills and location.
