To further strengthen our team we are looking for a Team Manager to join us here at Kongsberg Maritime in this role you will have the responsibility for following up the team of engineers working with Kongsbergs Loading Calculators (K-Load and Lodic). You will be a part the day-to-day operation of the customer support department which also includes coordination of activities towards internal and external customers. You will manage a committed knowledgeable and positive team that supports each other extensively.

Responsibilities
- Personnel responsibility for the team of engineers working with Loading & Stability. Team size per today is 6 direct reports.
- Overall operational overview and follow-up of ongoing tasks.
- Ensure that correct priorities are made and executed.
- Be the decision maker in internal and external discussions.
- Follow up on costs and investments in the department.
- Ensure that work is performed in accordance with the Kongsberg Maritime Quality Management system (QMS/HSE) and relevant procedures.
- Follow up on customers and collaborate with KMs global customer support teams.
- Ensure strong cooperation between other departments in Kongsberg Maritime.
Qualifications and experience
- Technical and/or Commercial education preferably with a degree (typically or similar). Solid background and a proven track record could compensate for lack of formal education.
- Fluent in Norwegian/Scandinavian and English written and oral.
- Experience e.g. from customer support project operation and/or managing technical personnel will be beneficial.
- Good skills in IT tools and systems.
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
