Job Summary

Assist with lesson planning and preparing materials for lessons as well as lesson delivery (when needed) Collaborate with staff and service providers to support students Support students in classrooms with academic/behavioral/emotional needs Maintain positive relationships with families allowing classroom teachers to address concerns with parents Assist students in toileting/diapering (if needed) Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks Maintain confidentiality regarding all personal information regarding children families and staff Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students families and staff. Facilitate group activities Other duties assigned by the building administration and/or supervising staff
