Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic clinically versatile Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. This role is ideal for an RN who thrives in fast-paced settings enjoys variety and excels at adapting to the needs of different inpatient units. Youll have the opportunity to broaden your experience across multiple care areas while contributing to safe high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across a variety of acute care and critical care units
- Perform comprehensive assessments interpret clinical data and implement evidence-based interventions
- Develop evaluate and adjust individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications safely and monitor patient response
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatments and discharge instructions
- Serve as a resource nurse and preceptor supporting new staff and fostering unit-wide learning
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient nursing experience required
Position Details
- Permanent position
- 24-32 hours/week
- 8-hour and 12-hour shifts days evenings or nights
- Employees working 20 hours/week are eligible for full-time benefits including comprehensive health coverage paid time off and additional perks
