Qualifications
- 5 - 8 years of experience in COGNOS development
- Programming experience with integration of Cognos with SQL Server
- Experience in IBM Cognos Analytics (11 and above versions)
- Proficiency in developing complex Reports using IBM Cognos.
- Experience in writing SQL Stored Procedures DB design and Query Optimization
- Should be able to manage Production support and provide the solutions within the SAL.
- Good organizational skills detail oriented thorough
- Must have a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
- Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Excellent written and verbal and visual communications skills.
- Bachelor or PG Degree required.
Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
As an integral part of the development team you will be responsible for the following
- Understand user requirements and discuss with onsite/offshore lead for requirement clarifications.
- Develop complex reports using IBM COGNOS
- Write DB Queries stored procedures optimization.
- Release preparation and work with QA for any deployment issues
- QA/UAT and Prod support.
