Job Summary

Job Title: Toddler Program Lead Teacher (Full-Time) Lealman YMCA Preschool Academy

Were looking for someone whos nurturing energetic and committed to creating a positive safe and enriching environment for toddlers.

Duties:

Deliver high-quality care and early education aligned with the YMCAs values: honesty respect responsibility and caring
Plan and lead fun age-appropriate activities-arts & crafts music storytelling outdoor play and more
Support positive behavior and foster social-emotional growth
Supervise daily routines like meals free play and playground time
Build strong positive relationships with families and conduct regular parent-teacher conferences
Maintain accurate classroom and program records
Participate in staff meetings training and family engagement events

Requirements:

At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent required
CDA credential or a related college degree
Completion of DCF Introductory Child Care Training (Parts 1 & 2)
6 months to 1 year of preschool teaching experience
Able to lift up to 40lbs and actively engage with children both indoors and outdoors
Pass a 10-panel drug screen.
Clear a Level 2 background check*
